Art from the Caribbean/ Academics:

Academics/Art from the Caribbean:

Gymnastics: Learn the basics of gymnastics skills, such as: forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and bridges, as well as coordination, agility, strength and flexibility. Panhandle Perfection instructors provide instruction.

Cupstacking/Pickleball: The world’ fastest growing sport is now at PSC. This summer kids will love getting to participate in this easy to learn but tons of fun camp. Kids will become skilled in hand-eye coordination, agility, balance and provides social interaction in a team setting. Kids are having so much fun, they do not realize the health benefits: physically, socially and mentally fit. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of serving, receiving the ball, volleying, dinking, positioning, and scoring. And Cup stacking with Speed Stacks is an exciting individual and team sport that promotes hand-eye coordination, ambidexterity, quickness, and concentration. Cup stacking helps students use both sides of their bodies and brains to develop important athletic and lifelong skills.

AFTERNOON

Swim/Art of Various Artists: Classroom and water instructions. Learn the basic water safety along with proper swim strokes and a variety of sporting activities. Bring a swimsuit, towel, and play clothes for each day.

Art of Various Artists/Sports Fun-

Photography: Students will be introduced to the basics of photography and come away with some great photographs. The instructor will discuss the importance of F-stops, shutter speeds, and ISO’S. Students will get hands-on experience by walking around campus to take photos. Students will need to bring a paper, writing utensil and camera everyday (be sure batteries are charged or replaced as needed)

BLACKROCKET ROBLOX Coders: Every child can code! Develop your skills as a young coder by exploring block coding, JavaScript, and Python concepts while making your own playable mini-games. This introductory coding course is designed to get elementary-aged students excited about technology through a series of hands-on and engaging learning challenges. Student-created games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. Recommended Ages: 8-11
