Preschool Gymnastics 3 (Fall 2) - FA25

In the Preschool 3 class, boys and girls aged 5-6 will learn to transition to larger-sized equipment, preparing children for beginner classes in the big gym. (8 hours)
Students taking this class will learn the following skills needed for Superstarts/Preteam or Beginners classes:
- Bridge and hold one leg up
- Kick to handstand on panel mat, finish in lunge
- Cartwheel over a mat with straight legs (start and finish in lunge)
- Backward roll to straddle on incline or floor (no help)
- Tuck jump and split jump on floor
- Walk on high beam - forwards, backwards, kick walk (no help)
- Pullover with one step on wall or minimal spot with no wall
- Cast 3” off bar
- Skin the cat on rings
- Run, hurdle to straight jump off springboard

Fall 2025 Session 2 (October 13 - December 13): No Class from November 24 - 29.
ATTIRE
- Gymnasts should be in comfortable, athletic attire. Leotards for girls are not necessary, but are acceptable. A t-shirt and shorts is sufficient.
- Hair should be neatly pulled back.
- No jewelry (other than studs in the ear) should be worn.
- Please avoid clothing with zippers and buttons.
- For gymnastics classes, bare feet is preferred. Socks are OK. Tights are not recommended. Socks are recommended for trampoline classes.
FOOD & DRINK
- No food or drink should be in brought into the gym other than water.
- No gum is allowed at any time.
