Chelsea Weaver received her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Studio Art from Texas A&M University-Commerce and has had her mixed media artworks exhibited at various galleries. She has served as an art educator for over 10 years and enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for the arts with others. Weaver also supports non-profit organizations through collaborative efforts such as jurying exhibitions, providing educational tours to various groups, and more. During her career, Weaver has been the recipient of various grants, scholarships, endowments, and awards, and she most recently has become an alumnus of Leadership Pensacola (LeaP), Class of 2024.

About:
During this session, participants will become acquainted with the various gallery spaces of the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts and gain an understanding and how the campus gallery enhances student learning experiences as an educational resource while supporting the college goals for research, teaching, and service. Participants will be presented with an overview of the Visual Arts Department exhibition programming, a guided gallery tour of the current displays, and information on additional opportunities through the Anna Society.
