About:
“I don’t have time to exercise” is one of the most common barriers to being physically active; but how much time do we actually need to see results? This evidence-based session explores what research tells us about what can be accomplished with 10, 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes of exercise. We’ll compare cardio and strength training and discuss how our exercise needs change as we age, particularly for maintaining muscle, bone, joint, and cardiovascular health. Participants will leave with practical strategies for getting the greatest benefit from the time they actually have available.
