About:
Self-Care in the Apocalypse explores what it means to take care of ourselves when the world feels overwhelming, chaotic, or even like it’s falling apart. In times of high stress and struggle, our natural instinct is often to push through, neglecting rest and renewal, but that only leaves us more depleted. This session reframes self-care not as indulgence, but as resilience: simple, practical strategies to steady ourselves, protect our energy, and keep moving forward even when circumstances are uncertain. With humor, honesty, and real-world tools, we’ll look at how to create space for recovery and strength, so that we’re not just surviving the storm, but finding ways to thrive within it.
