About:
This roundtable workshop invites faculty to engage in a collaborative discussion about how we approach AI in our teaching practices—focusing on practical strategies, ethical considerations, and classroom-level responses to both appropriate and inappropriate usage. We will address such things as instructor use, student use (both appropriate and inappropriate) usage, detection, response, consequences at the class level, and usage for teaching. The focus will be on practical, classroom-level approaches rather than institutional policy, exploring how best to support student learning while maintaining academic integrity.
