Do you include video in your Canvas course? Are you running out of space for those videos? Did you know the college has a subscription for Panopto, a video management tool that can solve your problems?

This workshop will introduce instructors to Panopto, a video management tool that is installed as an LTI in Canvas. Panopto is an easy way to record lectures and presentations, either in real time or using PowerPoint or other presentation software like Zoom and Camtasia. You can also edit and manage existing video files and add captions.

This workshop will demonstrate how to enable Panopto in a course, create a video, upload an existing video, edit a video, and add captions for ADA compliance.

Prerequisite: Currently teaching in Canvas or completion of the Canvas Basics workshop.
