About:
This workshop is designed as a follow-up to “A Case for Critical Thinking” with the intent of forming a critical thinking cohort of faculty and staff at Pensacola State College. Participants will learn how to identify and apply the nine intellectual standards developed by Dr. Richard Paul and Dr. Linda Elder, for evaluating both our own and others’ thinking. The Intellectual Standards provide a system for acknowledging and overcoming egocentric tendencies while pursuing positive intellectual traits useful in any discipline or field.
