About:
This workshop is designed as a follow-up to “A Case for Critical Thinking” with the intent of forming a critical thinking cohort of faculty and staff at Pensacola State College. Participants will learn how to identify and apply the eight elements of thought, a framework developed by Dr. Richard Paul and Dr. Linda Elder, for examining both our own and others’ thinking. The Elements of Thought provide a system for acknowledging and overcoming egocentric tendencies while pursuing positive intellectual traits useful in any discipline or field.
