Things to be aware of regarding our trade-specific training.

  • These are accelerated versions of our college trade programs, and as a result, we will be covering a lot of material efficiently and purposefully. This means that it is a must that students are on time and able to attend every class. If a student misses multiple classes, then they will fall behind and may not be able to complete the program.
  • Students will need to read and study both their core and level one trade-specific books outside of classroom time and will have to pass the module exams for each chapter. These books are 400+ pages each, and students will need to pass over 30 + exams, with exams being held every week. The passing of the module exams and practical skills assessment is required to receive your certifications.
  • Regardless of the Chosen Program, your success will largely depend on the effort you are willing to put into the program, through your study preparations and practice during workshop training. Our instructors will prepare you for all the tests along the way, but missing classes or avoiding practice/studying can set you back. Please ensure that the class time slot you sign up for is one you can regularly commit to. The program is at no cost to you due to grant funding; all we ask is that you show up ready to learn and give your all so that you can get the full benefit by the end of your time in the program.
