Course Description

Travel Spanish for Beginners is a six-week introductory Spanish course designed for adult learners who want to travel with greater confidence in Spanish-speaking countries. No prior knowledge of Spanish is required, just a willingness to participate, practice, and have fun while learning.

By the end of the course, students will have learned more than 90 practical travel phrases covering greetings, introductions, transportation, directions, restaurants, shopping, hotels, and emergency situations. Through games, conversation, and interactive activities, students will gain confidence using Spanish in everyday travel scenarios. This course emphasizes communication over perfection and provides a welcoming environment for beginning language learners.

About the instructor: A classical and popular singer from Venezuela, Zuly Mitchell has dedicated herself to teaching voice, music, and Spanish in the Pensacola area since 2010. She enjoys adapting her lessons to students of all ages, whether in private instruction or group settings. Driven by her enthusiasm for languages, Zuly approaches language learning as a fun and natural process, emphasizing the importance of exposure, participation, and real-world practice.
