If you are unsure of whether you need to take the 4-hour or 8-hour course, we recommend that you consult with your lawyer.

Persons appointed by the court to be a guardian must complete Guardianship instruction within 4 months of appointment. Learn the legal duties, rights of the incapacitated and local resources. Enroll in this 8-hour course if you are becoming guardian of someone other than your own minor-age child. A light lunch will be provided. You can pick up your certificate in-person or have it sent to your address through mail.

NOTE: Students must bring photo ID (driver's license) to class. (8 hours)
